Team

Prabh Singh FCCA

Director

Prabh is an FCCA member with BA (Hons). He has 13 years of experience working in an accountancy practice environment, offering tax planning and advice for Individuals, Companies, Unincorporated businesses and Trusts. Prabh deals with all Personal Tax related work and enquiries for Individuals, Sole-Traders, Partnerships and Trusts, which include Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. Prabh specialises in tax issues for Non-Resident Individuals and Non-Resident companies. Prabh can also assist with advice on Corporation Tax and, VAT cross-border issues.

Sam Moller

Client Relations and Operations Manager

Sam joined Blackmanterry in September 2020. She plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the business supporting the entire team.

Sam has a wealth of experience in customer service and is always happy to go that extra mile for our clients.

Sam is the first point of call for any existing client queries and looks after all the onboarding of our new clients.

When she is not at work she enjoys socialising with friends, cooking, gardening and going on bike rides in Tillgate forest with her husband and son.

Lawrence Rose ACA

Accounts Manager

Lawrence joined our team in 2014 as a trainee accountant and qualified as an ACA in 2018. Before joining our team Lawrence studied for a degree in business administration at Kent University.

Lawrence is always developing his accountancy knowledge and since qualifying has excelled in his role.

In his spare time, Lawrence enjoys keeping fit and can regularly be found in the gym.

Mark Ticehurst FCCA

Tax Manager

Mark is our experienced tax manager, with over 18 years of experience in the accountancy industry. Having previously worked for Blackman terry on a self-employed basis, Mark joined as a full-time member of staff in February 2015.

Mark specialises in accounts preparation, from sole traders through to larger corporate companies, together with overseeing clients’ personal tax affairs, which often goes hand in hand.

When he’s not at work you will often find him around a pool table, having first picked up a cue at the age of 8 Mark now plays weekly for a pub team within the Lewes and District pool league.

Kavit Sethi Msc. Business Analytics

AML Compliance Officer

Kavit joined the Blackman Terry family in July 2023, having graduated from Bournemouth University with a master’s degree in management with a focus on business analytics.  He is a key member of our AML and risk assessment compliance team.  Kavit’s role also includes analysing the business to ensure that we streamline processes to operate in an effective and efficient manner.  This all helps provide a fully comprehensive and cost-effective service for our valued clients.

Outside of work Kavit is a keen sportsman, playing competitive badminton and cricket for the Crawley Cricket Club. Regular visits to the gym also help to keep him fit and healthy.

Asma Khan

Accounts Assistant

Asma joined Blackman Terry in May 2023 bringing with her experience in both business administration and finance, in particular, bookkeeping.

Asma’s ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines ensures that our financial processes run seamlessly.

When not at work, Asma enjoys staying fit, spending time with her family and friends, and loves to travel.

Lynn Wright

Bookkeeping Assistant

Lynn has worked for Blackman Terry for over 7 years and within accounting departments for over 20 years.  She is happy to reconcile “unmanaged” paperwork and help clients to organise their bookkeeping processes.  This enables them to take control of their accounts  saving them money and valuable time.

Away from the office, Lynn enjoy long walks, eating out and catching up with her daughters who are both at university.

Michelle Gerrard

Payroll Manager

Michelle has 25 years of experience working in Payroll. She has a Payroll Alliance certificate in payroll practice and an AAT foundation certificate. Michelle is able to provide advice on auto-enrolment duties and manages Employment Allowance claims.

In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit, reading and listening to music.

Helen Bryant

Business Development Manager

Helen’s role is varied but includes marketing, recruitment and business development. One of her main roles includes meeting existing and potential clients, to find out more about what they really want from an accountant and topics that are of interest to them. We regularly run business seminars so getting to know people really helps with deciding on the topics for these.

Throughout Helen’s career, she has worked for a large blue-chip company in a variety of roles. Whilst this has given her a great foundation, she really enjoys the benefits of having a detailed understanding of the whole business and all its team, who are all passionate about Blackman Terry’s success and the success of its clients.

Helen likes to keep busy and active both at work and at home. Her horse mad children and recent house renovation help to keep her fit. She is a runner in training and is proud to have completed the Royal Parks half marathon, albeit some time ago now!

Sandra Lau

Bookkeeping and Compliance Manager

Sandra is a qualified business coach and regional ethics and compliance leader with global business support experience. She has expertise in strategic program design, compliance program management, effective communication, global programs and executive collaboration with broad management skills across ethics and compliance, human resources, project management, retail and international HR processes.

Sandra’s role within Blackman Terry is in improving compliance, communications and processes across all departments.

Josh Hough

IT Manager

Josh has a keen interest in IT both at work and at home.

In his spare time, Josh likes to listen to music and often partakes in clay pigeon shooting.
