Prabh Singh FCCA


Prabh is an FCCA member with BA (Hons). He has 13 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice environment, offering tax planning and advice for Individuals, Companies, Unincorporated businesses and Trusts. Prabh deals with all Personal Tax related work and enquiries for Individuals, Sole-Traders, Partnerships and Trusts, which include Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. Prabh specialises in tax issues for Non-Resident Individuals and Non-Resident companies. Prabh can also assist with advice on Corporation Tax and, VAT cross-border issues.

Jon Terry, FCA


As a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in accountancy, Jon was previously the Managing Partner at Blackman Terry.

Jon thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of building a client base for the practice which ranges from start-ups to large corporates. Jon still helps to ensure that at Blackman Terry we always aim to provide a level of service and attention to detail which identifies key savings for our clients. Our strap line ‘Accountancy that pays for itself’ is not just a set of words, we can genuinely say we achieve this time and time again.

Jon has two daughters who certainly keep him grounded in life. When Jon gets some time to himself he expresses his artistic self through a local Theatre group.

Greg Cust


Greg has a wealth of experience having first been employed in a professional office in September 1966. He qualified in 1974 (ACCA) and became a Fellow (FCCA) in 1980.

Greg became the manager of the office in Horley in 1974  taking this over as a sole practitioner in 1981.

Greg has worked in the profession for 55 years and has been fully qualified for 47 years.

Blackman Terry is delighted that, alongside enjoying a well deserved retirement, Greg has agreed to provide consultancy for us.

Sam Moller

Client Relations and Operations Manager

Sam joined Blackmanterry in September 2020. She plays an integral role in the ‘day to day’ operations of the business supporting the entire team.

Sam has a wealth of experience in customer service and is always happy to go that extra mile for our clients.

Sam is the first point of call for any existing client queries and looks after all the onboarding of our new clients.

When she is not at work she enjoys socialising with friends, cooking, gardening and going on bike rides in Tillgate forest with her husband and son.

Helen Bryant

Business Development Manager

Helen’s role is varied, but includes marketing, recruitment and business development. One of her main roles includes meeting existing and potential clients, to find out more about what they really want from an accountant, and topics that are of interest to them. We regularly run business seminars so getting to know people really helps with deciding on the topics for these.

Throughout Helen’s career she has worked for a large blue-chip company in a variety of roles. Whilst this has given her a great foundation, she really enjoys the benefits of having a detailed understanding of the whole business and all its team, who are all passionate about Blackman Terrys success and the success of its clients.

Helen likes to keep busy and active both at work and at home. Her two young children help to keep her fit! She is a runner in training and is proud to have completed the Royal Parks half marathon, albeit some time ago now!

Mark Ticehurst FCCA

Tax Manager

Mark is our experienced tax manager, with over 18 years of experience in the accountancy industry. Having previously worked for Blackman terry on a self-employed basis, Mark joined as a full-time member of staff in February 2015.

Mark specialises in accounts preparation, from sole traders through to the larger corporate companies, together with overseeing clients’ personal tax affairs, which often goes hand in hand.

When he’s not at work you will often find him around a pool table, having first picked up a cue at the age of 8 Mark now plays weekly for a pub team within the Lewes and District pool league.

Lawrence Rose ACA

Accounts Manager

Lawrence joined our team in 2014 as a trainee accountant, and qualified as an ACA in 2018. Before joining our team Lawrence studied for a degree in business administration at Kent University.

Lawrence is always developing his accountancy knowledge and since qualifying has excelled in his role.

In his spare time Lawrence enjoys keeping fit and can regularly be found in the gym.

Sandra King FCCA


Sandra is an FCCA with 28 years of accountancy experience in both public practice and industry. Having worked in both these environments, she has gained valuable experience of working to meet various compliance regulations, as well as practical financial reporting to facilitate business operations and new ventures.  Sandra has extensive experience with statutory accounts, management and financial reporting, particularly with regard to small and medium sized businesses.

Sandra has two children; and is always busy at work, at home and in the local community. She absolutely loves family time.  Sandra enjoys a range of activities including walking, gardening, playing her guitar, various crafts and attending live music concerts.

Frances Keeble CAT


Frances started working in accountancy in 2008 and completed her qualifications to become a Certified Accounting Technician with ACCA in 2013.  Frances works in a wide range of areas including the preparation of accounts, VAT returns, tax returns, CIS returns and payroll, and bookkeeping. She may also be your first port of call if you visit, or phone, the Horley office.

Frances has had a passion for yoga since her teenage years, and, in her spare time, can often be found on her yoga mat, either teaching, practicing or on retreat somewhere. She loves to travel and experience different cultures. If she can combine that with yoga, then so much the better!

Jo Wilcox MICB PM.Dip

Senior Bookkeeper

Jo has been working in accountancy for many years gaining experience in various industries, she enjoys bookkeeping, payroll and preparation of management accounts. Jo is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

Outside of work Jo enjoys going to the theatre and concerts, in between providing a taxi service for two busy teenagers.


Lynn Wright

Senior Bookkeeper

When not at work Lynn loves to walk through the woods with her family and their Miniature Schnauzer, Dave. Lynn has two teenage girls who she ferries around most evenings to various dance clubs so life is always busy! When it’s Lynn’s turn to relax, she loves attending Pilates and Yoga classes.

Michelle Gerrard

Payroll Manager

Michelle has 25 years experience working in Payroll. She has a Payroll Alliance certificate in payroll practice and an AAT foundation certificate (payroll section). Michelle is able to provide advice on auto enrolment duties and manages Employment Allowance claims.

In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit, reading and listening to music.

Sakina Miya

Accounts Assistant

Sakina has recently joined Blackmanterry, bringing 15 years of experience in accountancy.

Outside of work, Sakina enjoys Socialising and going out for coffee, at home she loves trying out new recipes as well as going for walks and bike rides. She values time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren!

Nina Kowalska

Accounts Assistant

Nina moved from Stoke on Trent and joined our team in December 2021.
She has 6 years’ experience in accountancy and is AAT qualified.
Prior to her accounting career, she worked in sales and administration for 20 years.

Nina is a member of National Trust and English Heritage.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, cycling and exploring new places.

Josh Hough

IT Manager

Josh has a keen interest in IT both at work and at home.

In his spare time Josh likes to listen to music and often partakes in clay pigeon shooting.
