Blackman Terry was established in April 2010, by Jon Terry and Rob Blackman to predominantly support small and medium-sized businesses with their taxation, accountancy and consultancy requirements.
Our excellent understanding of the market enables us to support businesses, not just with their finances, but through offering knowledgeable business advice that is strategically aimed at seeing them grow. We have an excellent relationship with our clients and have been with a number of them from their early days as a sole trader, through to their evolution into a fully-fledged, successful and profitable business.

Our Story
Blackman Terry was born out of the frustration with which traditional accountancy practices behaved. From our start in 2010, we operated on a monthly fixed fee basis which included ad hoc support meaning that our clients do not receive any surprise invoices. This helps build trust with our clients and means that we can provide ongoing help to our clients rather than them just dealing with their affairs on an annual basis.
Initially, Blackman Terry consisted of just the founding partners, Jon Terry and Rob Blackman but over the years we have taken on some very talented people and we now have a team that offers professional guidance and support to numerous clients in Sussex, Surrey and beyond.
