In 2016, Chancellor Philip Hammond announced a major shake-up of the Budget timetable.
Historically, the main annual Budget has generally taken place in the Spring, followed by an Autumn Statement later in the year.
However, under the new regime the annual Budget now takes place in the Autumn and is followed by a Spring Statement.
The first Spring Statement will be delivered on 13 March 2018.
